Our privacy commitment

PDS Research Associates uses personal information only for legitimate business purposes connected with inquiries, client service, secure portal administration, account recovery, publication management and website security. We do not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Information you may provide

When you contact PDS or request portal access, we may receive your name, organization, business email address, telephone number, location, area of interest and the information you include in your message. Authorized portal accounts also contain information needed to administer access, including name, organization, login email, account status and recent login time.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries; evaluate and provide requested services; administer client and guest resources; manage account access and password recovery; publish and administer site news; maintain business records; protect the website and portal; and investigate operational or security problems.

Client portal, passwords and recovery

Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes and are not retained in readable form. Password recovery uses short-lived, single-use reset links. Client recovery instructions are sent only to the email address stored on the client account. Administrator recovery instructions are sent only to the configured PDS site contact email address.

Protected and guest materials

Private client white papers, videos and other resources are stored outside publicly accessible website folders and are delivered only after authorized login. PDS may separately designate selected resources for public guest access. A guest designation applies only to the specific resource selected by an administrator and does not provide access to private client materials.

News and external links

The public News section may contain PDS commentary and links to third-party sources relevant to the services PDS provides. Following an external link takes you to a site governed by that site's own privacy practices and terms.

Security and operational records

The portal may record security and activity information such as login and logout events, account administration, access-request administration, password-recovery activity, news administration and resource downloads. Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used, including HTTPS, authenticated access, server-side validation and restricted file delivery. No Internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for client service, business records, security, dispute resolution and applicable legal obligations. Administrative records may be retained longer when needed to document access, publication or security activity.

Your choices and questions

You may contact PDS to ask about personal information you previously submitted through this site, request a correction, or ask that information be deleted when there is no overriding legal, contractual or security reason to retain it. Contact contact@pdsresearch.com or 240-575-6862.
